TONIGHT WE JUST WANT TO SLEEP

I think this might be the busiest day EVER! We left our Tampa hotel at around 6.45am to make it to my mum's hotel in Orlando for 8am. We had to could pick up a few things that we'd ordered and had sent to Carrie - a lovely Floridian lady that collects parcels for British holiday makers ready for when they arrive (she'd dropped them off with my mum a couple of nights before). And wowsers...we'
ordered a lot of things.

On to Cypress Grove (our wedding venue) to drop of the cake stand, doily garlands  and a few other bits and pieces for Tori (our wedding co-ordinator) to have ready on the day. After that it was time to meet with Michelle from Love is Me Photography. I'd found her on Groupon a few weeks before as I had this crazy idea to add even more to the plans and have the 'Crafternoon' professionally photographed. This was our consultation to go over exactly everything I wanted. From there we headed to Bahama Breeze (our dinner venue for the wedding) so we could get our bearings of where we would need to go on the day and make sure everything looked okay (although I'm not sure there was much we could do if something was wrong!).

A few stops at tourist information places and gift shops to try and pick up some tacky Florida gifts for the Welcome Bags, postcards for the guest book and attraction leaflets for the villas, and it was almost 3pm.

This meant a mad rush around Walmart to stock up two villas for the week with breakfast items and enough BBQ food to feed 40 the following night (we wandered up and down each aisle a million times searching for things on the list). A pit-stop at Party City to order some helium balloons for the wedding day (not the brightest idea to go the Saturday before Halloween…45 minute queues!), and
we were off to the villas.

Packing Welcome Bags assigning bedrooms, putting food away. We were so rushed I'm sure half of the things I was planning to do got missed - but no one will ever know!.

Guests started arriving from 5pm and we had a couple of airport pick ups that evening as well. Welcome to the crazy, hectic, fun, busy world that is our wedding!
