A FLAT TYRE...BUT WE MADE IT TO THE BALL GAME

Well this morning started out great. We got up, had breakfast and watched Kelly and Michael {the new Regis and Kelly} while we waited for the morning rush hour traffic to die down.

First stop: the Warner Brothers Studios. Got to see Stars Hollow {where Gilmore Girls used to film}, walked through the set of Hart of Dixie {even went into the doctor's office and her house}, saw the set where Two Broke Girls is filmed, looked at all the cars used in the movies {including the Batmobile - I think this was Dan's favourite part!} and saw the costume museum. I loved it, it was so much fun.

It was lunch and we our first McDonald's of the trip - Dan won a free breakfast sandwich with McDonald's Monopoly.

We then made a short drive to It's a Wrap, where the take all the old clothes worn on shows to sell off, but we got in a bit of a pickle...we had a flat tyre!

It was so hot out, at least 100 degrees. Dan changed the tyre to the spare one while I ran into a few shops to try and use their phone as pay phones seem to be non-existent in LA.

We ended up driving back to LAX to swap the car. It was 5pm when we left and the Dodgers game started at just gone 7pm, so we were cutting it fine in the LA rush hour traffic.

But we did make it with enough time to spare to grab a hot dog, some pop corn and a t-shirt for Dan from the gift shop!

Big thank you to Tom and Nancy for the tickets, they were great!
