Back from Baku and catching up before we're off again

So we kind of dropped the ball on the blog! In case you hadn't realised, the Games ended a few weeks ago and we flew back at the beginning July. Today is the first day we've had a chance to sit down...!

For anyone that doesn't know, we're moving to Australia - which means that we only have a short time to get everything organised here before we head Down Under. We've been busy sorting all of our things and had a yard sale over the weekend to sell all of our worldly possessions. The initial idea was to keep as much as we could, but with only a limited amount of storage space we took the more brutal approach of getting rid of everything. It's only stuff at the end of the day.

So with about 10 boxes left, we're trying to work out what we really need in Australia as we are only taking one case each - after coming back from Baku with three cases each, this is going to be a bit of a shock.

I leave in just over a week and head to Washington DC with my mum, then Dan will join me a week later and we'll fly to Seattle, drive the coast down to LA and then fly directly to Melbourne from there. So in addition to moving half way around the word, we are also looking for jobs and planning a holiday (and it's not one of those two weeks by the beach kind of holidays, it's three weeks in a different city every night kind of holiday - so planning is a full-time job)...and now you are all caught up.
