A snapshot of Hong Kong

Hong Kong wasn't my most favourite of holidays (in fact, I think it might have been my least favourite holiday), but it was a chance to get out of Baku and not have to get up for work!
After we weren't able to get visas for India, it was a bit of a spur of the moment choice based on where we could get the cheapest flights and which cities were on Dan's hit-list, it was his birthday after all.
The main reason he wanted to go was to watch the Symphony of Lights - the world's largest daily pyrotechnics show. It has to have been the worst pyrotechnics show I have ever seen, Dan was so disappointed!
The weather didn't help matters - it was cold and grey all week. The only time we saw the sun was the day we went to Lantau Island, which coincidentally was my favourite day.
But I did get a new iPhone as they were a lot cheaper than in the UK {my old one was getting pretty old - five years old to be exact!} and we got to see pandas at Ocean Park. They were very sweet, I think I could have stayed there all day.
Dan said it was one of his favourite holidays though. Maybe it would have been better with warmer weather...
